Whiteknights FC

There are two teams at the U18 group: Werewolves and Wolverines. The teams have not been streamed and are at a similar standard, playing at a good level generally in the lower half of the EBFA division structure. Over the years, we have achieved some success, including Divisional wins, runner-up positions, and cup final appearances. However, we take more pride in the fact that many players have been with us since the inception of these teams 10-11 years ago, while others have joined more recently, not necessarily with a competitive football background. And both squads exhibit great camaraderie, strong social bonds and play the game with respect and fairness.

We have matchday squads, but also several players who are training only (for a reduced subscription). They come to develop their skills, keep fit and to have fun playing football with friends; some players may not feel ready for competitive football at this level, or are not available on Saturdays.

Manager: Nathan Helsby

Training: Friday 6.30-7.30pm at Palmer Park.

Matches: Saturday mornings competing in the East Berkshire Alliance League.

Please enquire. Whilst we welcome players to attend training, we can’t necessarily guarantee places in matchday squads.

There is currently a waiting list to join the squad. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the contact form below. New players have a two-week trial with the team. The manager will provide parents with details on how to register their children and add them to any relevant apps and communication channels.
