For the second week running, the Wolverines put in a fantastic defensive effort to record a 1-0 win against a really strong team who have made it through to the cup final, beating some first division teams along the way.

The goal came courtesy of Anton in the first half, and its got to be a contender for goal of the season. Arjun set Saran away down the right wing, who then put in a fantastic cross for Anton, flying in at high speed to head past the goal-keeper, it really was a great goal.

The Wolverines then showed the other side to their game, with a fantastic disciplined defensive performance. The faced quick passing, skilful attacking and even some long throws coming directly into the box, however, the stood firm throughout. Every player played their part, with Max and Anton both taking a half in goal, Morten making a goal saving tackle in the second half Arjun, Sami and Louis being tenacious throughout and Abbas, in only his second game showing how well he has fitted into the team with some great tackles and a keenest to get forward. Saran took the man of the match after an amazing amount of effort, skill and committed play - well done to the whole team for a great performance!
