The other half of Whiteknights took to the field against a team from Woodcote who play the game in the right way, but were fresh from a 3-1 defeat from the other Whiteknights team.
Whiteknights started the game really strongly, with some great moments of skill, some great passing and some well structured attacks. Luxan was very unlucky not to score with three good chances, but the Woodcote goal keeper was on top form, and the game reached half time still goalless.
After the break, the pressure finally told. Whiteknights finally got the goal their play deserved, and went on to add three more, with Sami and Luxan amongst the scorers. The defensive performance of Whiteknights was also fantastic, with Max and Maxwell in defence and in goal, and Xander putting in some great tackles to keep Woodcote out and setting up the attacks.
Overall, a great morning of football, against Woodcote who are a great team and did themselves proud, and we look forward to playing them again.
