I would like to thank everyone for responding to me with regards to the upcoming tournaments, I have now received a response from everyone, albeit some needed a few reminders  and I have reserved a place for every child in one or both tournaments.

I am conscious we are fast approaching the summer leagues and I want to ensure everyone is fully aware of what this actually means – In preparation for the “Berkshire Youth Development Leagues” in which we will be entering from September ’17 I have entered two teams into the summer leagues which is based on a 7 a-side game.

The games will be played every Saturday commencing 22nd April and will be played at Reading College, Hamilton Road - the kick off will be either 09.30, 10.30 or 11.30, so this means our last ever training session at Reading University will be 8th April ’17, there will be no training on Saturday mornings from 8th April due to the summer league matches (15th April – Half Term).

Each team will be registered with the BYDL and the players will be registered to that individual team, which means the players cannot swap between the two Whiteknights FC teams, therefore the level of commitment goes up exponentially, if a team has a pool of 10 players and players don’t turn up for the matches, the games will be abandoned by BYDL before kick-off due to lack of players, so I encourage everyone to ensure all these dates are booked in their calendars so we can ensure the teams have sufficient numbers of players to play.
