Looking Ahead to 2017 / 2018 Season

Dear all,

Football – Looking Ahead to U9’s (September ’17 onwards)

Just as a follow on from my previous e-mail, just in case some of the parents were not aware, we will be entering the “Berkshire Youth Development Leagues” when we progress to the U9’s in September ’17.

What does this mean?:

• Every child registered to Whiteknights FC U9’s will be entered into a team within one of the leagues – similar to the summer league set up.
• Every Saturday we will be playing league games (Times / Location TBC).
• No more training on Saturdays from September ’17 onwards due to the league matches.
• Training will be one evening during the week (Mon-Fri) Day / Time / Location TBC – Training will be 1 hour

I personal think there will be a big step up to the level of commitment, from me, as well as the parents, once we leave the junior teams (U6’s – U8’s) and head towards the U9’s etc.. and I hope everyone will join me as we head towards the next level of football.

If there are any parents who know now that they won’t be available to train during the week or are not interested in leagues games on Saturdays, this also goes for the summer leagues, can you please let me know ASAP, as I need to start to provisionally put the two teams together.

I hope the above helps, please feel free to ask me any questions.

Paul
